We believe that what must be done now, does indeed have a proper place in American parlance. Rather than to go after each and every one of the mightiest politicians personally, we feel it a much better idea to use what thrills us — the use of common language. Therefore, if you happen to be a non-English speaker or EASL pupil, or if you are warming up for this fall’s TOESL exam pay attention these are words that are in fact, worse than cursing someone out.
If anyone reading this article wonders about the vengeful and hate related crimes that seem to dominate the news programs or where we get clichés such as “if it bleeds…it leads” mantras maybe if only by happenstance we look toward those in publicity in Washington D.C, for the answers.
Simply by a matter of degrees let me try and explain what brings my hatred to the point of
extreme loathing. I am a immigration reform advocate. I normally will try and do whatever I can — all people and things considered — to bring about suggestions for acceptable change, make models, polling, surveys, and above all support those organizations who have real hard earned capital invested in this menagerie as well as myself.
And then…WHAM!! again, in some small aforementioned place gets all over it and we get nothing remotely close to making resolution, just further matters of lies, misspeaking, manipulation, and what does appear as conspiring. The following is a small rendition of what hit the presses today out of Texas and Tucson, AZ.
Hundreds of undocumented immigrants detained as far away as Texas are being released under supervision in Tucson, AZ. But getting to their next destination leaves them on their own. And this is “supervision.”
Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, has said that it does not want to put children in detention centers and it does not want to split up families. ICE releases those families with the condition that they contact ICE for their next court date once they reach their destination in this country. Hey! C’mon in!
“They had been releasing people through Tucson, but the bus station didn’t have the capacity to hold so many people, said Leah Sarat, a volunteer helping the illegal immigrants. “Just in the last few days we’ve been seeing upwards of 70 to 80 people within a 24-hour period.”
“We’re concerned about the condition they’re in, said Cyndi Whitmore, with the Phoenix Restoration Project. “After being released, they have very little provisions. They don’t have food, water, diapers and formula.”
The U.S. Immigration and Enforcement Office released this statement.
“U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Tucson Sector is assisting with the processing of illegal immigrants, many of whom are family units, apprehended in South Texas. Upon completion of processing, CBP is transferring the individuals to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), where appropriate custody determinations will be made in accordance with ICE enforcement priorities.”
“After screening by DHS authorities, the family units will be released under supervision and required to report in to a local ICE office near their destination address within 15 days, where their cases will be managed in accordance with current ICE enforcement priorities.”
As for me…absolutely loathsome; this type of political manipulation does not belong in this Nation! It is one disgustingly repugnant person who would condone this matter. Who could possibly dream up this repulsively offensive machination other than President Barack Obama.
What concerns us, sorry, beyond the children and parents and so-called families is the abhorrent and nasty fact of who does this guy think he is? No! Congress in their smug yet vile ways have not brought about anything that remotely resembles reform. It is all concessionary.
We will be covering this situation in far more detail…insofar as this has all of the earmarks of riding the U.S.A. of its southern border.
