Has our President Lost His Mind..?
We have discussed the notion of the Usurpation of Politics — What we are addressing in our (lay) terms is the President of the United States (POTUS) seizing something without rights, in order to control or monitor the behavior of us — We the People. How many times (see archive for previous articles) have you seen on this blog, “STOP! legislating from the bench, or the Oval Office.” This complexity usually happens to me when regardless of the law of the land — US Constitution — the POTUS in this case to make policy that directly interferes with what right we used to have, and that according to some advisor we no longer have that right even though it has been duly legislated by our nation’s Legislature.
Why has Barack Obama, decided so early in his first term to cut the Congress out of debate; moreover, President Obama is now directing not asking the American people, “So how about at least 5 million individuals to be amnestied because I want my name to go into history as the guy who said, ‘hey it is okay.'”
Well we already have this man caught up in so many fabrications who would even want to believe him? Proof is in the details, gang. The POTUS does not possess the innuendo to grant something that he just wants to do! When the Framer’s set up the Republican Democracy it was clearly stated that it is Congress’ job of doing anything to the immigration plans of our Nation.
As you can easily see President Obama is deluding — or leading into a false belief — that he has the power to do so. The America where I was born and raised, the same America that I volunteered to serve as with my life, as did my ancestors did in the Revolutionary War would laugh at the deluding and power hungry person who does not even ask for their public opinion.
Now if you believe there is something amiss in this article I need to ask everyone what does the following do for you?
OBAMA’S AMNESTY SPENDING MAY DEFY JUDGE’S INJUNCTION, FEDERAL ANTIDEFICIENCE ACT
On Tuesday President Obama announced the Department of Homeland Security would not process executive amnesty applications, and hand out related work permits, in light of the Feb. 16 injunction by Judge Andrew Hanen. He will, however, continue to spend funds in preparation for implementation, which appears to violate Judge Hanen’s injunction, according to The Daily Caller. The watchdog group Judicial Watch last week asked Congress to investigate whether the president violated the federal Antideficiency Act by spending funds he did not have in preparation for launching his executive amnesty.
But The Daily Caller reports Judge Hanen’s injunction bars all DHS preparations. It says Administration officials “are hereby enjoined from implementing any and all aspects or phases of the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (‘DAP A’) program as set out in the Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson’s memorandum dated November 20.”
The media reported Obama’s claim about complying with the judge’s order but did not question whether continuing amnesty preparations was in fact consistent with that order. Questions also have been raised as to whether spending-to-date on Obama’s executive amnesties has been lawful.
Judicial Watch last week asked Congress to initiate a Government Accountability Office investigation into whether the Administration has unlawfully redirected DHS funds to pay for executive amnesty preparations. The Administration leased an office building in Virginia to house 1,000 new hires who will process amnesty applications, The combined cost for leasing and staff is an estimated $48 million. Plus on Jan. 23rd DHS solicited bids for “records support services in support of deferred action for parents of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.”
The very fact that Judge Hanen has found that the 26 states’ have standing on this issue means the legality of the president’s executive amnesty is seriously in doubt. This should simply serve to reinforce that Congress, and not the executive, has precedence over immigration policy. President Obama has acted unilaterally on this issue and taken steps he said time and again he didn’t have the legal authority to do so.
