Now then let’s be as realistic as possible here, shall we? Just on a whim let’s say that not one, but two Inspector’s General did a massive amount of research, given their staff’s and experts and all that the big money could buy, with the expressed intention of seeing if Hillary Rodham Clinton did in fact mishandle classified government documents on her own cell phone whilst using a self-provided server.
The move comes after a conclusion in a June 29 memo by the inspector general for the State Department and the inspector general for the Intelligence Community [IC] that Clinton’s private account had “hundreds of potentially classified emails” in it. The memo was sent to Patrick F. Kennedy, the under secretary of state for management.
Hoping beyond all hope is that what the request is for — an investigation to see if there in fact was mishandling of secret government documents by Mrs. Clinton, and the request for the Justice department (DOJ) to conduct a further investigation.
Please let us remind our reader’s that General David Patraeus, former Commander of the Army as well as former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff and after a heralded tenure serving our nation in excess of 37 years, later at the request of many became the Director, Central Intelligence Agency.
However, there is something interesting given the two different cases — Clinton and Patraeus — whilst Hillary Rodham Clinton has admitted to using email for classified documents, yet only after it had been discovered and literally states, “Any released emails deemed classified by the administration have been done so after the fact, and not at the time they were transmitted.”
General Patraeus on the other hand never admitted to, or was convicted of willful knowledge of mishandling government classified documents. Research clearly shows that General Patraeus’ biographer, Paula Broadwell, was a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and political geography. She earned a Master of Arts degree in international security from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies in 2006. She earned a Master of Public Administration degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 2008.
The Washington Post has reported that Broadwell had earlier (2007) been asked to withdraw from Harvard’s Ph.D. program, as her coursework reportedly did not meet the university’s standards. Broadwell is a Research Associate in the Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership Fellows. In 2008, she entered the PhD program at Department of War Studies at King’s College London. As of February 2014 Broadwell is listed as a “former student” presumably without receiving a Ph.D. Her lead supervisor at KCL was Lawrence Freedman., and was within her era of serving as a lieutenant colonel United States Army Reserve. It was Paula Broadwell that was involved in an extra-martial affair with the General.
I do think it is fair to say that if a person is going to pass classified material (documents) over to someone else this writing is intended to illustrate the differences between the cases — moreover, that Paula Broadwell had the necessary top secret security clearance; therefore, we also intend on showing how these two cases are radically different.
The two Inspector’s General have been viewing, categorizing and objectifying hundreds of thousands of Hillary Clinton emails that Clinton herself has already edited and discarded.
Politico and others pointed out that the original version stated a criminal investigation was requested “into whether Hillary Rodham Clinton mishandled sensitive government information on a private email account she used as secretary of state.”
