Why is the ALCU so Anti-American..?

100415_prayerThe American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana is accusing Airline High School Principal Jason Rowland of “religious proselytization” by writing the words “The Future Starts Today – May God Bless You All” in a message posted on the school’s website.

I, for one, admit that he has a wee-pronounced problem with the American Civil Liberties Union — of course as they carry on in the USA. I readily admit that a lot of the problem I have with the institution is it seems to be going after America’s system of values, and seem to think that by using their special interest group status of wealth it appears as though (to me) that the ALCU just enters anything remotely based on other hate groups such as the atheist groups that mutter into the lives of others.

Now if there is one thing that is certain it is this: — we do not see evangelicals for Christ scalesthat much anymore; however, the war being waged by atheists against Christians and their far flung ideals aimed at the aforesaid, we feel as though the scales are definitely tipping in favor of atheists.

The ACLU’s open letter, which was sent several weeks ago to the superintendent of Bossier Parish Schools, also complains about plans by the school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes club to place prayer request boxes around the campus.

“The United States Constitution requires public schools to ensure that state-supported activity is not used for religious indoctrination,” Louisiana ACLU Executive Director Marjorie Esman wrote. From the evidence acquired thus far nothing has been collected or seems to be standing against Christians.

Rowland said on “Fox and Friends Weekend” that the ACLU’s letter came out of the blue, as he’s never heard a complaint from any student or parent for saying, “God bless you.”
“If it gets to that point and you’re not even allowed to sneeze within a school system and say ‘God bless you,’ where’s our culture? Where are we going if that’s going to be offensive to someone?” Rowland wondered.

“If this is now going to be offensive, what’s next? And so our community and our school system decided this is where it stops.”
