The Effort to make known to all Readers
I am not one given over to gripping easily. In Australia, I know and in England, I’d imagine they refer to it as winching. Funny for a little humor, in this week’s past edition of Game of Thrones there were actually lines of dialog that deal with whinging and for the most part how everyone dislikes it. The really big guy who has been on the show since the beginning is telling this younger bloak to “stop whinging!” Before this younger guy even gets out another sentence, the older and ugly (because of war) big guy says to him, “well I see your lips moving, and words are going everywhere, complaining, so I’d say you’re whinging!”
It is not often that I go off at any journalist or anyone who is part of the mainstream media. This is certainly not to infer that I do not whatsoever; subsequently, it means that when there are questionable sources or so and so heard it from a source, or right to the point, “Fake News” or any sizeable amount of disparity between a real event from what the mainstream media explains for me, is always something to write about…heck, call it fodder.
Some quick examples for you; measurably, the disparity between good reports on President Trump and of course, the bad coverage ranges for ABC, CBS, NBC, The New York Times, N.Y. Post is roughly 93% Negative versus 2 or maybe 3 % positive. When in the course of routine speeches when the President states that he feels that a group of White Supremacists, Neo-Nazi’s, or the KKK has started something take it at that. The next day, at a press conference, to wail away on his new agenda, and the first question is “GOTCHA”! and the man says that he feels that good people were involved on both sides, what is the problem. Please remember, it does take two to Tango and copulate!
So just yesterday I’m listening to some lady (that’s all she gets for now) start screaming because some no neck NFL. football player states that he kneels down with the remainder of his team who are showing disrespect to the nation by not standing for the National Anthem – your run of the mill “hey I will get noticed for this and maybe be some more money” or at the least, “I can always start or file and discrimination suit!”
But this lady – Eboni Williams if you must know – is harping about this guy and she agrees with him that it is okay to pray. Please Ms. Williams, please do not bother us with your stupidity!
When it comes to Christ or God let’s see what they have to say. God also wants us to pray alone and in secret: But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. (Luke 6:12, NKJV) Now Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he stopped, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1
There is no correct or certain posture for prayer. In the Bible people prayed on their knees (1 Kings 8:54), bowing (Exodus 4:31), on their faces before God (2 Chronicles 20:18; Matthew 26:39), and standing (1 Kings 8:22). You may pray with your eyes opened or closed, quietly or out loud—however, you are most comfortable and least distracted.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. (Romans 8:26-27, NIV) And finally for this short, yet cited well aspects of scripture, Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. (Mark 1:35, NIV). Therefore, Ms. Eboni Williams, please do enjoy your run with Fox News’ program, The Specialists, but please remain in the matters where you have quality and not rubbish! Thank you.
